Batman Bulldog

Everything you ever wanted to know about Batman.

Batman FamilyI was born a small black child...no wait, that was Naven Johnson! Ok, I was one of 11 babies born to Rocky and Betty Dawson. Look at us, aren't we all cute?

I was very lucky to have so many brothers and sisters. I got to play all the time. After two of my siblings found homes, the terrible virus - PARVO - found it's way into our litter. Nine of us came down with Parvo and had to spend a long time in the hospital. I am proud to say that I am a Parvo survivor. Sadly, my brother, Whitey, did not survive. (RIP Whitey). It was tragic for all of us, but we are stronger now because of it.

As we grew older, our breeder was very picky about finding the perfect homes for us. All of my family leads great lives. We are taken to work in many cases, we roam around law offices, auto shops, printing shops and all over town! I consider myself the luckiest. My family thinks I am the greatest dog and I just get to go everywhere. Plus, my current mom makes sure that I get to visit my breeders whenever I want.

About BatmanI currently live with the most wonderful kid in the world. I am concerned because she heads off to college next year, and I will be lonely without her. Mom has promised to drive me up to see her many times so that I can watch her softball games, snuggle and just catch up.

Me, my mom and my kid have all passed Therapy Dog Testing and I am a Registered Therapy Dog! I love everyone and can't wait to get to start going to visit kids in the hospital. I am a good kisser and can make everyone feel better. Even older people in wheel chairs love to have me sit next to them so they can feel my wrinkles and scratch my back. It is great.

I have entered several contents and either won or placed quite well. My girlfriend, Sophie, and I tied for second place in the 2009 Polished Pooch Modeling contest. It was a bit of a rip off - Sophie should have won, but the judges were a bit biased to a fuzzy, ugly dog rather than us good looking bullies. We were still quite pleased to do so well.

I have also been chosen to meet and greet with Bo and DeeMo, a Bully Nation Clothing Company. I have entered calendar contests and won, took first place in the "Musical Chairs" contest at Strutt Your Mutt and was recently invited by the Atomic-Dogs of Las Vegas to participate in the amateur Frisbee catching contest. That's right! I am a bulldog, and I can catch a Frisbee! (As long as it is a 5" floppy!).

I am also available for Modeling jobs. Check out some of my photos on my photo page, or visit my photographer - Las Vegas Pet Photos.
